At Connexus Internet we recognise the importance of fast internet access: it means less waiting and faster downloads. Currently, we maintain over 1 Gbps of internet bandwidth with multiple redundant links. Our modems are fully digital for optimum performance (modem speeds up to V.90 56 K are supported).
Nobody likes waiting to use the internet—that’s why we operate a low modem:user ratio. Even during our busiest times (9pm–11pm weekdays), there is rarely any delay making connection. That’s in contrast to some other providers who force customers to wait (often for hours) until a free line is available.
Our standard plans (20/40/100 hours per month) have no time limits or restrictions, so you can stay connected as long as you like (even at night).
Local call access is available from anywhere within Australia on the Home 20/40/100 plans via our national 0198 number. Your Connexus account is available to you both when you’re home, and when you’re travelling.
All customers receive an email address for sending and receiving mail. Another four addresses can be configured for household members (at no extra charge). We also allocate 10 MB of space for a personal home page which you can upload at any time.
Our advanced ‘Safe Internet’ system scans all incoming and outgoing e-mail for
more than 80,000 viruses and worms—preventing them from arriving on your computer.
And our state-of-the-art spam filter helps you clear the ‘junk’ messages
from your mailbox. You can choose between No Action, Subject
Tagging and Message Deletion—at three levels of
sensitivity.
Connexus MailWeb allows customers to read and write e-mail using any web browser—anywhere in the world. MailWeb allows e-mail to be accessed from airport lounges, internet cafes—any internet connected-computer. MailWeb is simple, fast and free to use. No special software is required.
Our prices are easy to understand. Our plans have no download limits or charges. Connexus customers enjoy the freedom of surfing the web without fear of incurring extra charges for viewing information and pictures. Hours can be used anytime during the month. You are welcome to check your usage anytime using our Timecheck facility.
